Piatto Pizzeria

We ordered Calzone instead of pizza and boy, was that awesome food. I tried a pizza as well, liked the very thin crust, I do not like to eat a ton of bread instead of pizza. But the real thing was the Carni Calzone and for my other daughter the meatless version with mushrooms and cheese and spinach. We do recommend you order the Calzone. Awesome! Very fast! The cheese on the cake was offering the water bowl for Fido.

Stopped in here for lunch i got the salad and my son go the kids cheese pizza. My salad was the Barbabieto la Arrostita with Herb goat cheese, roasted beet, candied walnuts our maple balsamic vinaigrette served on a bed of mixed greens. It was very flavorful and fresh! The wood burning oven for the pizza is a plus, i will go back next trip to pei.

As with the location in Charlottetown, the pizza is baked in a stone over. 900 degrees! It's a nice place. Comfortable. However, it is a little pricey, also not unlike Charlottetown. It's good. Worth trying.

WE stopped here for lunch during one of our day trips around the island. The pizza was fantastic. Great dough and very eclectic flavours but delicious!

A good thin crust pizza. It had been featured on 'You Gotta Eat Here' and I can see why it was. I would recommend this for any pizza lover!
