Piadina Di Casa

We went to this place on a cold evening with the whole family. We were greeted by a very kind person who showed us to our table. The place lacks seats for a baby and it's not very large, so beware for people who are going with babies. The place also lacks any music at all, and when there are not many people inside it feels very lonely and silent, almost empty... A couple italian songs would greatly improve the atmosphere, but even french ones would be fine! Piadinas are not hand-made, and that's pretty obvious to italian people, and they cost about 13 Euro with a salad, when in Italy you usually eat them at half the price. They are tasty, but the service takes a loooong time to be fulfilled, even when there are no other guests at the tables. Overall it's a cool place, but not Italian at all and not worthy of the price they ask.

I went severals times to eat there when I was a student at the university. It's a great place to go to with firends. The location is slightly exposed at the sun when the weather is good. The food is soo excellent, there is a large choise of piadines and some delicious deserts. The staff as change throught the time but the ambiance is still on point and everyone is always well received. For me this charming little restaurant got everything of a traditionnal restaurant. The bonus is the dolce vita that embrace you and make you feel the Italian air. You must go to check this place if you are at Chambéry !!

We were a bit surprised that there was only pizza on the main menu. But the chalk board, and the waitress, told that pasta was the plat du jour. It was really excellent! Nice surprise that a small bowl of it was served also for those who ordered pizza. Salad for a starter was basic, good vinegar sauce served in a separate mini-bowl. We had chocolate mousse for dessert, it tasted home-made and was eaten to the last drop. Friendly service. Well worth the spend.

Wonderful prompt service, friendly and accommodating, clean, unique and reasonably priced. The fantastically delicious food arrived after a reasonable wait during which we were served bread and a beautiful small salad with the most delicious dressing on the side. They opened for us when we arrived earlier than their opening times and even threw in some delicious coffee. The main meals and desserts were freshly made and beautifully presented.
