Philly Frank's Steaks

My friend and I came here on a Friday night to enjoy some cheesesteaks. I ordered the Pepper Cheesesteak which had sweet peppers, grilled onions and I chose cheese wiz for my cheese. My friend ordered the Mushroom cheesesteak which had mushrooms, grilled onions and he chose cheeze wiz for the cheese. Then we shared a side of fries. One of the better cheesesteak shops in the North County San Diego and overall the Greater San Diego area too.

This is the only place I go outside of New York, New Jersey or Pennsylvania for a cheesesteak. It is awesome deliciousness at its finest! The bread is amazing they know how to cook the steak and mix it all in with the cheese and the toppings. They really know how to make crispy french fries and onion rings. Overall a true five star restaurant.Please excuse the half eaten food in my pics. I could not wait to start eating.

The food is alright, given that almost everything comes from restaurant depot The TIPS are STOLEN by the OWNERS and only a small percentage given to workers. If that wasn't bad enough they also charge an operational fee for every transaction from their customers without explaining that they are putting the card fees on you rather than applying on the cost of products.

This is authentic Cheese Steaks from Philly.When you walk inside you will see alot of Philly Memorabilia. The restaurant isn't what I would eat my meal at.I get my subs and go.If you stay and eat you can pull a seat up and watch a Philly game with a cold beer.Enjoy! !

A bit pricey for the portion size, but probably the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had. If you’ve got money or just want to treat yourself, I highly recommend this spot.
