Petit Duval

We had been many times in the old Petit Duval. What a great place! Great food, great service, really sophisticated and nice. They have moved now to a bigger place (ah the money! . There is not air conditioning so temperature is insane. The waitresses’s shirt is wet with transpiration while she looks for breath while she shouts to us the menu. Not really good service in the “nee Petit Duval” any more. Mussels are dry and most likely frozen or severely precooked. Fish with potatoes should be renamed to potatoes with fish. Such a pitty, a good restaurant is dead now but money is money and tourists are not so demanding!

Visited with family for evening meal and afterwards would need to visit somewhere else because portions so small needed to fill up.... mains came as listed on menu i.e. roast suckling pig (cochinillo) came as a piece of pork 2inches by 1 inch with little sauce. No vegetables at all. Would have thought that the price included veg.

What an absolutely fantastic find here in Calafell. The food is wonderful with a very varied selection included in their ‘menù del dìa’ which includes 2 glasses of wine/water. We travel on train from Sitges to this lovely restaurant as it’s well worth the train trip.

Best Patatas Bravas salsa of all the restauranats we visited! Tasty options for vegetarians. Cosy atmosphere and friendly staff.

It is just €19 even on Sundays, but food is not my favorite one (overrated) Menú de diumenge de 19€, però fluixet (sobrevalorat)
