I’m torn how to review this restaurant. We had a 7 PM reservation and arrived a few minutes early and the whole restaurant was empty except for two men seated outside. We asked if we could sit outside, and the hostess said that they’re all reserved and we had to sit inside. In the next 20 minutes patrons showed up for their reservations and several two person parties were seated outside even though we had been told it was reserved. The hostesses problem is that I know she lied to us because two or three of those couples spoke English and discussed how their reservation was like ours with no specificity about inside or outside and they were going to just ask if they could sit outside and they were seated outside. The restaurant should realize that people speak English and understand each other, and know when they lie about the tables. The food was fine. Average lasagna, and beef cheeks. We’ve had way better tiramisu in the US. There is also pressure to order food and drinks quickly as they approach you with a board to make a decision on the spot and not a menu you can hold and think about. I will say our bottle of reserve montepulciano was excellent!
