Pepe's Piri Piri

Paid nearly for meals. Drink was watered down. When I complained I was rudely told it’s sugar free. Sugar free has taste. If I wanted water I would have asked for water. We tried the new sweet chilli chicken in naan. Look at...the pictures and judge for yourself. Rude staff and deceptive advertising. When you order a chicken in naan with salad you expect a freshly cooked naan. Not a freezer naan. Never going rip-off pepe’s again. Branch Pepes Ladyool Road, Birmingham.

Food was mediocre. I complained about a Pepsi max that was so flat it tasted like water and was told there was nothing he could do about it. As I was adamant it was disgusting he showed me the Pepsi to show me it was...fizzy. I wanted the money back for my drink as I wasn’t satisfied in the slightest which apparently the manager couldn’t do. I walked away with a half fizzy Pepsi and not happy with derby pepes at all, will never go here again.

Started with misleading advertising photos in the window, as it was a different price inside. Ordered chicken burgers and fries, burgers and fries turned up. Had to wait another mins for the other burgers and fries, specifically asked for...no Mayo or lettuce, oh yes, they turned up with lettuce and mayo! Then had to ask for plain buns to put the burgers in after wiping off the mayo. No atmosphere in there either, never again.

Ordered a delivery for hot chicken platters this evening. We got no spice boiled chicken!!! Yes there wasn't even a nice char on the chicken as per usual. I'm not sure what was wrong today but the food was not upto standards at all....Even the pitta bread was chewy and one could break their teeth trying to bite through. The only edible and tasty dish was the fries.

star I would say is too much for them. They ONLY take cash, which is not ideal nowadays... They never wash their hands after handling cash... If and I repeat myself If they wear gloves they never change them. It is very unsafe and...the food is mediocre!
