Pedone Maître Glacier

We saw the ice cream shop on our climb to the church and decided to stop for some ice cream. Very worth it!! The ice cream is good, and everyone in the family enjoyed their selected flavors (Madagascar vanilla, pistachio, coffee, and mojito). I especially LOVED the mojito sorbet!! Your standards for ice cream may be higher than mine, but it hit the spot for us after a hot day walking around for hours. As some of the reviews mention, you do need to pay in cash for the ice cream (3€ for a bowl with one scoop), but I knew this in advance because of other reviews, so it wasn't a problem for us. If you, like us, don't speak French, I recommend pointing at your desired ice cream holder (cup or cone) then saying the number of scoops then the flavor. The person scooping was kind and patient with us and it all went smoothly.

Very good ice creams with the real taste of homemade. Several choices available. Shop well located in Vezelay. Kid-friendliness: Some classic flavors that may appeal to children, such as spread, vanilla, etc. Meal type: Other Price per person: €1–10 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Really delicious ice cream on the other hand the boss is not at all welcoming it looks like a smile will tear his face off you would think a Parisian on top of that does not even take the credit card in a tourist place you would have to explain to me

Some of the best ice cream we've had! The verbena sorbet is wonderful, like the rose and vine peach sorbet... Everything is delicious and the lady is incredibly kind. THANKS ! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
