This is local at its best, a cute cafe, part open air, friendly, welcoming, tables, benches and even hanging racks for bikes and water bowls for dogs. Then we talk about food, wow, great selection, fresh and funky, and reasonably priced. They do breakfast and brunches, from muesli to vegetarian basket, and a delicious Avacado with feta, radis, mint, and lemon on rye, Happy Hens, which is 2 free range eggs (anyway) on toasted sourdough. Brunches included toasted, croissants, pancakes and waffles, or salads, all sorts of things on breads, and even a menu for children called Littlies food, toasters, muffins or a bigger Tackers Brekkie, and a Moo Shake. It is next door to a bike shop and attracts lots of Lycra lads, and locals flock to the place. We couldn't believe how helpful the staff were, I felt like hugging them, and the supreme bonus of the place is that they sell Portuguese Tarts (divine little custard tarts like you get in every cafe in Lisbon, or Macau, or even South America) Oh what a dream, coffee and a Portuguese tart, I might have to go there every day. This is definitely a must-visit on The Parade.
