We were here months ago. she asked if they were connected to Spice's Thai... in Carmel Valley and Rancho Bernardo. They told us... and as we love Spices Thai, they tried. It was okay... just good enough that we went back this last weekend with friends. The place was almost empty... then got a little more busy.... only enough to make sure that the single waiter couldn't look very good at someone. There was a large screen TV on a Spanish channel with Spanish subtitles so that the chefs could enjoy everything. Collectively, we tried three different soups... none of them very well... and their "chicken in the hot and sour soup" was terrible. Bad service... poor food... don't go back.

While not the best in San Diego I rate it a 4 out of 5, fresh with friendly service and always a smile. Be careful when ordering on a scale of 1-10 to stay safer on this page of 5. Phad Thai and Panang Curry are ingenious if you really want a treat try the THAI STYLE RIBS...... MmmMmmmGood

Fast and friendly service! Tasty and delicious thai food. They are not serving sticky rice but its okay. Their lunch special is plenty and it comes with soup, wanton and spring rolls, very reasonable price.

The food came fast and it was delicious, the staff was friendly and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We'll be back soon.

Lunch special is great. Affordable. Big portion. Clean and taste so good! Our fave Thai restaurant in Escondido.
