OX und Q - Reservar uma mesa

The menu is limited but the food, esp. Potato salad and Maultaschen made by the owners mother, are something else. Make reservations on Thursday nights, they open at 6 and are always filled up. Outdoor seating weather permitting! Local hangout at the bar. They make their own schnapps and you can buy it also by the bottle steaks on Wednesday nights, grilled to order. I like mine rare and it was perfectly that! Closed Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. They slaughter their own animals, open range fed, you can taste that. This is my hometown, I visit it annually for a month. This place is unique, as is the food. The town is historic and well worth exploring with its ancient walks, towers, churches. Johannesburg Kepler born 1570 is one of their famous sons.

The atmosphere is absolutely wonderful with the open beams and the old world wooden tables and chairs. The OX und Q is tucked in behind a house in the inner city of Weil der Stadt... one of the most beautiful villages in Germany!! The serve THE BEST maultaschen and potato salad that I've every had! It is homemade and served pan-fried, in soup or boiled... and probably other ways too. They have other food but I love the maultaschen so I don't order anything else. The beer is wonderful and the staff are absolutely wonderful!! This is one of my favorite places in the world!!

Very nice dish restaurant, beautiful ambience, even made mouthbags were lace. Dessert waffle with applemus, ice cream and cream very good. It's worth going there. Reservation with several people would be useful. Food: 5 Service: 5 atmosphere: 5.
