Outback Steakhouse Midlothian

The parking space at 8:50 was so empty I thought it closed (they close at 10 am). I had fried mushrooms. They were hot and juicy, but cooked a little too long, based on their color, but they were not burned. The interesting was the French onion soup THAT DID NOT HAVE ANY ONIONEN IN IT! I showed the waitress who told the cook that he thought he was laying in there. I have to apologize. The steak was boiled a proper medium, but I could hardly taste the spices they have sprinkled above. The server was attentive (but nobody was in my section). I couldn't see the dressing on my salad that was supposedly under the cheese and the crumbs. I asked and received more. Steak prices can run $20-$30 dollars.

Ordered curbside and when we showed up on the time it said to, we had to wait almost 20 mins for our food. Didn?t get any of the sauces we asked for or utensil we asked for. How I?m going to eat my salad (which had a lot of brown rotten lettuce!!!! Only good thing was the fries. Also the big pot hole in the parking lot is real nice for my car ?

Used to be a time when the Outback was really good but those days are gone. Now you just hope the steak isn?t over cooked and there is more meat than fat. With so many options now including grilling a steak at home we are officially done with Outback. Last few times have been well below par.

Like any place, prices have increased last year. But still justified prices for good food. Good taste, Customer Rewards program has not improved any minimum purchase that will reward you when your purchases reach certain levels.

We like to come to our local outback. RJ is an amazing bar. He is very attentive and has such a great personality. The food is always good and we never have to wait long.
