Ostalamer - Reservar uma mesa

Firstly the positives the elevated position of the restaurant provides a beautiful view of the sea and the setting sun, whilst dining on the terrace. The food was very good, particularly the Iberique ham; the lobster was also very tasty. Not so good was the difficulty we experienced trying to book; they would only accept telephone reservations, which is difficult when my command of French is not extensive and the phone reception in the area was terrible. Also, it would have been good to have been able to chose the size of lobster (we would have paid more) and have been given an option of paying for a side dish to accompany it for instance salad chips as the three or four tiny potatoes that were on the plate were not sufficient.

We had lunch on the outdoor patio on a warm, sunny early fall day. We were part of a group and our meal was served family style. I cannot comment on the price of the meal because it was included in our tour. I will say that the food was excellent! Very fresh ingredients, creating simple, well seasoned dishes. We had an heirloom tomato salad with fresh burrata. Just delicious. Tuna pate on toast points. Steamed mussels. Grilled calamari. All were perfectly prepared and enjoyed by all. The Patio has a very nice atmosphere and an amazing sea view. No white tablecloths here, but the patio has an air of sophistication. Would definitely return to this spot!

On way back from Biarritz, we stop for lunch in this beautiful restaurant. We had great food, best view and outstanding service. The price was very reasonable, from delicious lobster to great sardin and desert. Couldn’t ask for better food. This is really 4.5 stars.

Please point out to the waiter who was serving at table 49 that the pictures of the tuna tartare on here shows it is served with chips. This is why I asked for it 'sans frites. ' He thought this was amusing when shouting to the chefs.

the food. the fish was excellent and very fresh. The view is so nice. Very welcomed place. Good advice for the food. Perfect place where to eat and have good time with family and friends
