the hotel, in the quiet courtyards, located directly on the enz, is a good example of long-term family tradition. for decades good quality in regional meat, fish and wild foods, and for the afternoon coffee the good self-baked torts and cakes contributed so far that the house enjoys great popularity. has always been cultivated in such a way that it now consists of a harmonious mixture of old black forest construction and modern environment. I know the hotel since childhood when the grandparents wanted to afford something special, they drove here, the whole family was invited to eat, and after that there was the digestion hike along the enz. from nostalgic, but also because I really like it, I am here a few times in the year, invite my family and it is also an experience for us again and again. competent, extremely friendly service and very good food. from the practice. very popular is the famous black forest kirsch torte, the pieces are very high and in the lying state as large as the teller. to the rocky and black forests cirsch eat the loosening of already some generations of the pforzheimer and live in the environment. I can't say anything about the hotel and the rooms, but imagine it nice to stay here because the location is very quiet and the environment is forest-rich and idyllic. a parking space is a few meters away, and even without car you can easily reach the hotel. the small railway station, which is approached by the enztalbahn, is about 300 m away, but here everything is quite quiet because it is in private property and is used as a residential house. the ochsen is a good recommendation for all large cities who want to recover in a quiet, natural environment, and with well-kept eating.

We always like to come from Pforzheim to the coffee jacket in the Ochsen to Höfen when we have guests and feel this pleasure for a good black forest cherry. Over the last four years, we've been here 10 times. But always only coffee and cake. We cannot comment on the hotel business or the classic restoration. The Black Forest Kirschtorte is certainly not only the highest in Germany, but also certainly one of the best: Sahnig, fluffy and with a decent shot of cherry water. Delicious! And for our visitors always a WOW when they see the cake standing on the counter. Today we were served excellently and attentively again and our Dackel even got a bowl of water and a small snack from the waitress. The filter coffee was strong, hot and really excellent! The beer is juicy, cold and perfectly tapped. Actually, I would like to, but the guest room is a trace too unpleasant and "clean" from the furnishings, lighting and atmosphere. I like it in such restaurants. Nevertheless, we are happy to come back and I forgive today and in recent years

Fine hotel, nice rooms modified with a tablet. Wellness space was also very pleasant. The hotel itself is between a train track and a river, but it's actually not a problem with the sound.
