This place is just an excellent example of what hospitality is all about. An informal old bar with tables and bar space. The service is so friendly, the owner spends time speaking to all who enter, locals and visitors alike, no matter how busy the bar is. She will explain all about the food, the wine, the fiestas or the weather. In winter months, with the absence of central heating they have old fashioned brass trays full of hot coals (brasseros) under the tables to warm the customers. The food is fresh and delicious, the wine is great as is the cold beer. This is Granada province, so there is a free tapa to accompany every drink you order. In summer the doors are flung open and the tables spill out onto the street. Inside or out the ambience is always great.
