This is the local spot to try! Our food was great as was the service! This restaurant is a family-owned spot that includes even the youngest helpers handing out menus, so sweet. We ordered the gator PoBoy and chicken fried chicken. Both were delicious. They have an outdoor patio if you want to enjoy your meal away from the main floor. I noticed restroom stall locks wouldn’t lock (I tried them all haha , just have someone stand guard or be prepared to stick your foot out to close it if someone accidentally walks in on you. Besides that the facilities are clean though. Side note: pay cash if you can! They do take card but you will need to pay a small transaction fee to offset the card fee. OMG! This rustic, counted gem is on Hwy. 190. I would have missed it if it wasn't recommended by a friend. I live 35 miles away, but a look at the menu, let me know that I would visit many times. The food was absolutely delicious without being too hot. The waitresses were polite and attentive. It is family owned and SOMEBODY can cook safely in the kitchen. The portions were plentiful and I totally enjoyed the experience. It is decorated like an old farmhouse and the dining room atmosphere was casual and comforting. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Came from Florida to celebrate my brother's birthday. Love the place. Food and service was EXCELLENT!!! Will definitely return to my next trip there. KUDOS to the restaurant and staff!!!

It was pretty cool. The prices are high so I didn't order anything when the building loved and next to it a tree grows literally in the middle of the old tree. It was really good!
