Nick G's - Reservar uma mesa

I live in the area and have given at Nick and G 's my business many times over the years. It 's finally time to give newcomers an honest opinion and provide a general warning to those considering dining there: It isn 't just that the food is absolutelymediocre--it is. It isn 't just that the staff makes you feel like they 're doing you a favor by serving you food andbeverages--they do. And it isn 't just that the prices are ridiculously high--they are. The latest and saddest incident for mewas when I was eating the catch of the day (absolutely fishy and almost inedible) and found a large piece of plastic in mydish. Yes. Honestly there 's better fine dining to be had at most budget fast casual restaurant chains. I honestly don 't thinkthe people at Nick and G 's care about the experience or their patrons in general. Take your money elsewhere and get a muchbetter experience.

Looking for an upscale date night destination? Well Nick G’s is worthy of your consideration. The food was good, as was the ambiance and service. @nickandgs typically offers live music on Saturday nights, so plan accordingly if that appeals toyou. Our Review Team had only positives to share about their “Meatballs di Formaggio”appetizer, “Grilled ChickenAlfredo” and “Summer Vegetable Risotto” entrees, and “Profiteroles” and “Butterscotch Bread Pudding” desserts. While our meals weren’t inexpensive, our final bill was less than expected. Although this portion of Rancho Santa Fe is quiteconducive to strolling with your someone special, keep in mind that RSF tends to roll up their sidewalks pretty early so factorthat into your plans. Excellent service, food and atmosphere. The staff made our experience so amazing. It was child-friendly with a great children's menu and serving. They even gave our little iPads to keep them occupied while they drink their chic chocolate milk! The flat bread was for food! The chicken picatta was so good and tasteful. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to our staff (Nick, Kristina, Leaha and Don) who helped us with our selection of food and drinks and fabulous service!

From the Amuse Bouche, chilled asparagus soup with caviar, through the mountain Meadow Mushroom Ravioli and on the rack of the lamb, finishing with a light and delightful dessert of lemon cream with grapefruit sorbet, the whole meal was delicious. The room has a warm and pleasant ambience and the staff was very helpful. Thanks for a pleasant culinary experience, we will definitely be back.

Excellent dinner experience! They have a beautifully equipped, small patio to feel the night breeze. Lamb and scallop dishes were amazing as well as service. Even though we dined literary 5 mins before closing time, they took care of us wonderfully.Highly recommended.
