Newberry's Yard Of Ale

We happened to be in the area Newberry’s was a delight. It was pouring out, so it wasn’t very crowded at all. Service was good, food was delicious. Hubby son in law had burgers raved about them. I had the chicken with roasted peppers spinach in a ciabatta roll. It was very large, I couldn’t finish it but it was so good. Daughter had the flatbread, didn’t love it but it wasn’t inedible. Fries chips that came with the sandwiches were very tasty. I would return again when back in the area

Made a reservation and we were seated in the Hideaway Bar in the basement ; nice but not what we expected. We were told it would be 25-30 minutes for food which we understood. We saw no reason why it took about that long to be acknowledged and get drinks! Barry, we have always enjoyed your place but not this time! Reservations upstairs and walkins downstairs!

We were in town for a wedding. Overall wait staff everyone was super nice. Service could have been better but there was an event downstairs. Anyway, food was good for what it was. Looking for a fun place for a few drinks and quick bite to eat this place does the trick. Good value for money. Burgers were delicious!
