Naturfreundehaus Weilheim Gaststätte U. Unterkunftshaus

In the Naturfreundehäuser, which I visited with a group in the last few weeks and months, a completely different spirit is blowing. Some are lovingly furnished, modernly equipped and well managed, also with love – others are close to decay, are poorly maintained and have a modest service that goes against zero. Unfortunately, little good was done to me in Weilheim, although the details of the house could promise a nice stay. After Weilheim in Oberbayern our small group of friends moved to a boulevard tournament at the end of August. Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Oberammergau are not far away, so we planned further excursions. The Weilheimer Naturfreundehaus is located about 4 km from the train station, on foot it always corresponds to a nice walk along the Ammer. That's how you get to the house. The building seems to originate from the optics from the 1980s and is located in a really appealing area, just a few steps from the Ammer. In addition to a large beer garden and a good-bourgeois restaurant, the house also offers accommodation, but on the hostel (and this does not belong to this portal). It is obvious that the boss personally controls and cares, but on the day of our visit it was of a very bad mood: rough, shy, rejection. Hospitality is something else. We couldn't get rid of the vague feeling instead of disturbing guests and customers what we felt constantly. Since the classic time for lunch already ended on our arrival, I no longer dared to order a dish from the map. My slightly small-format sausage salad (6.90 euros) was then also commented by the service in the following words: “But this is something small.” At the latest, I realized that not only was the attribute "small" suitable. Probably only one pack of finished sausage salad was opened from the supermarket and cut to a dish without love. Not even the cucumbers seemed cut and hand added. The part was obscure, rather tiny – even the piece of zero-eight-liveteen bread that was added to it could hardly contribute to saturation (fortunately I still had a vasper in the backpack that saved me over the day). When I accidentally had a brief insight into the rather chaotic, unfurnished kitchen, I was happy not to have ordered more... Relatives of a friend who came out of the village told us later that they were here earlier, but in recent years the change of the pawns stopped hanging and they were no longer happy to come here. All in all, not a good picture.
