Mr Chippy - Reservar uma mesa

Mr Chippy has been a secondary chip shop for my needs, mainly due its location in the centre of the broadway in Haywards Heath. Prices are good in here and they offer the usual fare. Sometimes though I have found food to be a tad too oily. I remember having the urge for some fried chicken once, and upon eating it the oil poured out all over me, rather putting me off and staining my clothes. Still I have ventured back again and gone for the more traditional cod and chips which was fine, not too sure if I could ever bring myself to risk the chicken, only time will tell. Other than that I do recommend getting a take away from here.

Not quite sure why Mister Chippy is in the restaurant section! For a take away chip shop its certainly not the worst, however in such near proximiy to another fabulous chip shop and restaurant (naming no names they do come a very second best. Location wise, they are perfect for that quick stuff your face chip shop experience. However as the previous reviewer Bensonrad has said they are terribly greasy and oily. Just a word of warning, because this type of fat will never come out of your clothes!! The normal menu is on sale here so no real suprises and it is tasty, just a little to greasy!

best in hayward heath in my humble opinion and experience. Believe me, I have a lot of fish and chips in my lifetime. I can't damage them, friendly, yet crispy and not oily if they are not thin after home, chip part. that's mine and my son. only something, can sometimes be difficult to get parking as in the strip of the restaurant.

We have tried all the local fish and chip shops, but always return to Mr Chippy. Delicious food and generous portions. Definitely recommend trying this place, if you haven't already discovered how good it is.

Yes I would , Blinking lovely best in town by far and the owners are such nice welcoming people
