Mr Chen's Authentic Chinese Cooking

Good: as usual, food is delicious with Taiwanese style cooking and favor. We ordered sauteed sweet pea leaves , salted crispy chicken , and cold plate salted duck . All three are good. Opportunities for improvements: 1. We tried order another salted duck to go, bit was told ran out/out of stock because they tried to keep fresh.... interesting comment??? 2. We then tried two delicacies cold platter with spicy beef tendon and spicy sliced pork ears... was told beef tendon was out of stock also....?????

Happy New Year! A festive first time here for us as we usher in the Year of the Rat. It was super busy but our server did a fantastic job. We shared a wonton soup for 2 but it could have served 3. I had Kung Pao beef and wifey had General Tso chicken. I expected my beef to be spicy but it was very tame so I added a few packets of Chinese mustard to perk up my palate. Both were very generous portions. The price was also a value for what we got. We will return.

Probably the best Chinese food in Hoover! I always get the braided pig! The reserve ribs are also wonderful. The appetizers are hot and fresh, we usually get egg rolls and soup too. They don't think you're soup with crispy noodles. Hasn't had anything bad from there, Kung Pow Chicken is a recurring order. The staff is fast and very professional. It is a great restaurant and easy to reach. Move!

Mr. Chen is the best Chinese I had! Your curry chicken is seasoned for perfection! You have the best egg drop soup I've ever had. Mostly? re friendly and happy to make changes to their menu items if you have a special diet.

The best Chinese food in the city! Beautiful service and food is always fresh. Nice cozy atmosphere. Very recommended!
