Motivos - Reservar uma mesa

My wife and i have found great restaurants especially in Las Palmas. We normally go to our favorite Tapas bar Los Joses in San Fernando. Tonight we went just around the corner and tried this restaurant. The first sign of what was to come was red wine that was hot. Not properly stored. The waitress asked if we wanted the wine chilled or at room temperature. Normally that means at room temperature it has been kept in a cool place at 15 to 20 degrees. Normally kept in a wine fridge. But it was hot. We ordered Tuna Tartar and jamon iberico. The jamon was very good but the tuna didn't taste that fresh. A fishey aftertaste. We were considering a plate of Dorado but decided that the tuna and jamon was enough food. They were nice enough to exchange the tuna for a mix of croquetas. They were excellent. The waitress insisted that the tuna was very fresh. We have had tuna tartar in other restaurants like El Poto and Allende that was fresh. This Tuna didnt taste that good but the waitress insisted that it was just a different taste that we were experiencing.. Her attitude toward us went straight downhill when we returned the tuna. My wife and I gave the dinner order to the waitress but we told her that we did not want the Dorado. We were takling to two very nice women at the adjacent table from Holand when at the end of our meal the plate of Dorado was brought to our table. The waitress insisted that we didn't cancel the Dorado. Actually, we told her earlier that we only wanted the tuna tartar and jamon iberico. She insisted that we didnt cancel the Dorado earlier and wanted us to take it to go. This lead to an argument with the owner and we paid for everything and left. They tried to blame us for this misunderstanding. We will not be going here in the future but to Los Joses instead.

This restaurant is great for anyone who wants to experience a great meal while visiting the canary Islands. From booking online to arrival (5 min early) we were made to feel welcome. The food was excellent, the service impeccable and the ambiance, the wine was faultless and the athmosphere in the restaurant was very nice. My family and I highly recommend this restaurant, if we are ever on Gran Canaria again we will come back.

Fantastic food and service. Really enjoyed our evening on the 12th July. Sadly an ignorant American started shouting over the bill and made a right idiot of himself. He threatened to leave a poor review so please disregard that one!! Our night and meal was fantastic. Staff attentive and friendly. Food exceptional. We will certainly visit again! Cheers guys!!

Superb tapas we were unsure what to order so asked the waitress to serve us a selection of 5 different tapas. The crepes were superb, the mushroom sauce they were in was absolutely divine Delightful place with very friendly and helpful staff.

It was perfect!! The service is very friendly and fast! The food is incredible! The location is also very nice
