Mother's Kitchen is a favorite of my older sister and I had the pleasure to experience their delicious sandwiches on two separate occasions this week. During my first visit we ordered the Quincy, a sandwich with fresh mozzarella, basil, tomatoes, green, olives and vinaiigrette on Focaccia. The sandwich was light, refreshing and delicious. This has rated 4 4.5. We also ordered a homemade lemonade. They advised that they tart it, but noticed that they have a pitcher of simple syrup in the refrigerator, so you can taste. They were right, it was pretty tart and I poured an ounce (or more simple syrup into them before the **** face left. Very refreshing and pleasant, this rated 3.5 4. On the next occasion we enjoyed the summer kitchen, filled with smoked turkey, bacon, avocado, tomatoes and creamy dill sauce on sourdough. This was beautiful and rated a 4. We also ordered a cold kitchen smoked turkey, bacon, cranberry sauce, stew, salad and mayonnaise on sourdough. This was met with mixed reviews. My niece loved this sandwich, singing the filling and cranberry sauce (more like a Chutney as highlights. My other sister liked the sandwich for the same reasons by making the stuffing taste too strong (Sage? and the cranberry sauce was too wet. I personally was less a fan of this sandwich compared to the Summer Kitchen, but it was still very good. This corresponds to a 3.5 4. I recommend Mother's Kitchen for a wonderful homemade sandwich or salad. Mother's Kitchen is very busy when the weather is nice and everyone is looking to grab a picnic for the beach, but don't despair how you can call beforehand to place your order for pickup. Tap when you are in a hurry, the prepacked tabouleh salad gets high notes.
