"Second visit and never disappointed! The couscous was succulent! Very rich and quality products! The decoration is unpleasant. We couldn't take dessert after this feast, instead of taking a tea (green mast for one, orange flower for the other) really good! The welcome is very hot!"

This is another restaurant I try to visit every time I'm in town. My family has been eating here since they opened nearly 30 years ago. The moment you walk through the door you are transported to a luxurious Moroccan villa. If the intricate tiles and columns don't win you over the delicious food certainly will. Although everything on the menu is superb, the Couscous Mosaïque is my go-to dish--a bed of fine semolina, a plate of perfectly grilled meats, and a bowl of stewed vegetables fit for a king. (Don't forget to try their homemade harissa if you want to up the spice level a notch or two!). And if that weren't enough to convince you, the family running this lovely establishment is as warm and welcoming as can be!

Its all too easy looking out the Restaurants in the main part of town. To do so causes you to miss out on crackers like this. Its a few stops from the Gare de Orleans (bus4 from stop L) - hop off at Pouponniere. When we walked in we were transported back to a holiday we had in Taroudant in Morroco, the decor is truly authentic, from highly glzed tiles with geometric patterns to plaster "fretwork" type friezes. And the food? We both had a tajine. Superb, the meat tender, no fat and very tasty. Do try it!

Visited here last Sunday for lunch with family (do book - they get busy). Excellent food, smart surroundings decorated in North African fashion. Service friendly and very efficient. We chose the 'Mosaique' Couscous at just under 20 euros a head and were glad we didn't have a starter - portion sizes are generous and refills of couscous, semolina (& sides of raisins & chickpeas) were brought promptly when we requested it. We will certainly return when next in the area!

Ended up here after finding Tawouk & Falafel was closed for summer holidays - liked the exterior immediately as we parked opposite but still wasn't expecting the exquisitely and authentically decorated interior complete with a wall fountain! Charming service from both our hosts and the food was great - highly recommended for the whole experience.
