we try to stay here once a year as a special occasion. we book the best suite, the complete tasting menu with wine pairs and while it is not cheap, they feel like they are worth their money. the employees are extremely attentive and knowledgeable about every aspect of the experience. the menu concentrates on local products where their own gardens can not deliver what they usually do. if they are looking for a great night with great food and look for some that they have to go with good wein and cheese here. hands down the best place I visited, and I take singapur and monaco in it. Having this on the door is crazy.
Experienced the Taster Menu last night…absolutely amazing from start to finish. I’ve never eaten in a restaurant like this before so a very special evening for me. The atmosphere was very relaxed which isn’t what I was expecting, thought it would be very pompous but it wasn’t and I felt very comfortable. The staff were wonderful and very tentative, nothing too much trouble. Only one little thing for me, I think one of the four desserts would have been better replaced with a cheese course. Thank you to everyone at Moor Hall for making it a very special birthday!
we had lunch in the barn a few weeks ago, and I have meant to sing their praise ever since. I booked months ago and unexpected had an additional 2 in the party, they managed to change the booking to 6 very close to the event and I am so grateful it was wonderful! the eating and the environment were amazing and we loved the extras we were given to try. the service was efficient, friendly and full of smiles. can't wait to go back.
very good lunch in restaurant moor hall. enjoy the experience, through the gardens (where ingredients are cultivated) and through the kitchen to go to see how the food is prepared. eating was fantastic to finish at the beginning, would recommend as a treat. there are other 2 Michelin star places in the northwest, which I would probably say are better worth, but still a fantastic meal!
