Monkish Brewing

So, I will be honest: Hubbers and I didn't come here primarily for the beer: we came through because Cousin's Maine Lobster truck was posted up in here for a few hours. I mean, we were gonna get beer anyway, but if it weren't for the truck, I'm not sure if we'd even come through at all. And we barely made it, too! I think we had less than 20 minutes (if at that! before the truck was scheduled to shut down and vroom away, and I blame the delay on that LAX traffic! So happy we had time to spare. So! First thing we did was get our grub order in. Then we walked in to check out what they had to offer. So... I'm a Hefeweizen gal, right?! Needless to say, I was immediately tunnel visioned on their 3. Had to try the one on top: 12oz Tape Deck it is. I love that they had indoor and outdoor seating. It really gave off a relaxing vibe. The music wasn't overwhelming either, everything just came together nicely. I took a swig as we waited patiently for grub (which didn't take long since we were pretty close to closing time. Good taste and it had that nice crisp, but what did me in is the flavors that popped all over my palate after a few seconds. Talk about impressive, they did this brew so good! I'm not even gonna bother describing it, if you like hef, GET THIS! So as it turns out, our brewskis kinda toppled the excitement we had on the truck! DRINKS: 5. Solely for the tape deck. SERVICE: 5. Staff were friendly! VALUE: 5. It's a bargain for $6! PARKING: Private lot. Shared with others. OVERALL: 5. Hubbers and I were discussing a next time. Food truck or not, we're gonna come through at first opp! We may drag the pup with us then...

Beware of this place .. the most racist and rude staff We were a big group and ordered couple beers , stelzer margaritas and canned beer as the server told us the canner beers are new launch and recommended it . As we started drinking our beers one of the staff member rudely interpreted and start snatching the canned beers the ones that were paid telling us that the canned beers canned be opened the facility.. This is one the bizarre things I have heard , the stuff Jose didn 't even attempt to explain the rule and try to accommodate us .. After this we went to ask another staff about the rule and reason for canned beers not allowed he was just started shouting and blaming it on us that we should be aware and should read the label somewhere on the menu that says 'enjoy away ' and that should be good enough for customers to know , they cannot open canned beers outside . Btw, we just ordered what ever the server recommended and we were not told when we paid for the van of beer that we should not be drinking the canned beers and only drive the draught beer We were finally kicked out of the brewery for asking them politely about the rule and why just opening a beer is such a big offense .... I have never felt that I was targeted because of my color but this is outright racist brewery .. I would put a formal complain about the business proactive

We are a regular visitor to Brewing along with Family Friends in Torrance area. Whole idea is to relax, get good environment with great beer. However, this time it was such a great disappointment choosing Monkish Brewing. It all started with a very hostile welcome by server and a very rude behavior throughout. Their senior staff were defending the server action and also misbehaved with us. On top of all this, their beer quality was sucks with no real taste. All in all, worst experience of our life and we truly regret our decision of choosing this place. Please think twice to go there and do not ruin your evening at this place. NOT WORTH IT AT ALL .

Went here for the first time today and was accompanied by a regular who absolutely loves this place. It's his fave brewery and I can understand why. Ordering was quick and efficient with lots of great options. There's plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Really nice outdoor courtyard and very dog-friendly. I got the No Salt Seltzer...refreshing, tart, and perfect! Also tried a bit of the Taste Bud hazy IPA. I'm not usually a fan of beer/IPA but it was pretty good!

The brewery located in Torrance Had 2 packs to go . The place is nice and huge best HazY DOUBLE IPA!
