Mitre Oak - Reservar uma mesa

I came here with my family for a nice dinner after a walk around a national trust, but it didnt go as planned. Tured up, everything fine. Atmosphere. ehhh, not great. We decided to order drinks and then order food. I got a hunters chicken dish. Never got it. Seating wasnt good as alot of tables reserved, so you were left with uncomfortable chairs. We moved table during the first 10 mins or so, and got colouring sheets out. After what felt like an eternity of waiting, our starter of breaded msuhrooms came out. HORRIBLE. Outside was cold, inside was COOKIN. I took my first bite, and fatty oil squirted all over my hand, and burnt my left thumb. I decided that I wanted no more! I thought after the starter had come out, that our main would come out just in a few minutes, yet I was very wrong again. We waited an hour, untill we finally said something, and they said that they were dishing it up. I honestly dont think they cared, as it wasnt there restaurant, and offered a refund. We took it, and left immediatly. Forgot to mention that the drinks were so overpriced, so wouldnt come here for a drink night. Dont come here honestly, there are many other country pubs out there. I hope the pub learns there lesson. I cant rate food sadly, i didnt have any.

During our trips to and from North Wales we usually stop for lunch and a break from the drive at the Mitre Oak, Hartlebury, Worcs. One member of staff we see on a regular basis is a lady called Patricia. This waitress takes our order expeditiously in a very courteous manner and always with a smile. The food is very good value for money and always served hot. We would certainly recommend the Mitre Oak in Hartlebury. Thank you Patricia for making our lunch stops such a pleasure. Mr. Mrs. B.R. Great food and friendly staff, extensive menu , choices to suit all tastes. The friendly staff help to make it a lovely evening. Would recommend for a value for money night out.

A great place for food and drinks with friends. Leah in particular was extremely professional and friendly. We will definitely be coming back!
