"Hotel is in rough shape. Several of us got sick from drinking the water from the hotel lobby. Bad GI issues. Staff is not happy at all. Pool slides tore skin up. Kids got blisters from the pool flooring. Rooms are OK, furniture is getting wore. Do no stay here."

Mom friends travelling with 4 kids (12-17 . We shared a 2 qn suite, Girls took the 2 qns in the separate bedroom while the boys had the pullout sofa (and the air mattress we brought . Living room area was small, and SUPER dimly lit. (Hallways also very dim Furniture shows its age, very dingey. I always bring a large sheet to cover the couch bc couches in hotels kind of gross me out lol. Beds in bedroom were clean and comfortable. We did not find any mold in our room, though dust on ceiling near vent may be what others have thought were mold(? . Walls are VERY thin, bring something for white noise to drown out the sounds from next door and above. Note that only FAMILY SUITES include 6 waterpark passes, NOT the 2 queen suite as we had thought- the desk clerk advised us at check in that we would have to pay $20 EACH FOR 2 EXTRA PASSES PER DAY. ya, no thanks! Our kids went on their own without issue, however when their key cards didn't work to get back into our room after their swim the desk clerk was SUPER RUDE to them, refused to help, and left them freezing in wet towels while they frantically tried to call us on the WORST WIFI THAT EVER EXISTED. We hadn't been to this property in years, and it's worn down for sure. It's an old Holiday Inn that Wyndham is slowly refurbishing, def needs it! Waterpark was fine for kids, again needs some updates, drain the pools and re-finish/paint the bottoms! They had no complaints though- and it was tons cheaper than great wolf during spring break. Kids quickly spent their cash at the arcade too, would've been nice to be able to use the basement area games room they used to have for free. Bottom line: Old hotel that seems hit and miss with state of room cleanliness. Ours was fine. Evening Desk clerk was more interested in her cell phone than helping our kids when they were locked out. No bugs or mold that we could find in rm 327. Terrible wifi, no free breakfast and poor lighting throughout. Kids (12-17yrs liked the waterpark. Hoping the reno's bring this hotel back up to par, as it's convenient to Minneapolis, without being right in the big city. Target is walkable, Walmart, restaurants and small shopping mall a short drive away.

Stayed with the kids over spring break. Hotel was dingy and needs updates. Couch was stained all over. Desk chair was stained and dirty. Pool was good, except they have about 20 tubes for the whole place and everyone boards them once they get one. You can’t even get a tube. The tubes they did have are half blown up. The staff are not helpful to get them blown up either. They just shrugged and said they can’t. Late check out is not an option. They don’t let kids in the hot tub, even if they have adult supervision- so even my 12 year old couldn’t come with me! The mini golf advertised on the website is closed and not available despite them still advertising it as a benefit of staying. The arcade room was disgusting with food stomped into the floor, and half the “games” if you can even call them that, didn’t even work. Breakfast is just a normal hotel breakfast, but they charge 13.99!

This was the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel. We payed over $400 to stay the night 12/31. We played in the pool for a bit after quickly dropping our bags off in our room and changing. Then went back to the room to rest. Until we saw black mold on the ceiling and walls by an air vent. We had to pack up and leave that night because I wouldn’t keep my kids in a room with mold. We talked to the front desk and they said we would get a full refund. We paid $465 and they gave us a $56 refund. I’ve been emailing back and forth for the last 3 months with no additional resolution. Avoid this hotel!!!

Very overpriced for the quality and service. The room was supposed to be recently renovated but the toilet ran constantly, there were holes in the shower wall and room coiling and exposed wires in the hallway. You could hear every footstep of the guests upstairs. The pop vending machines did not work on the 3rd and 4th floors. The elevators were grimy and looked like they belonged in an abandoned building. The front desk provided no explanation of amenities when we arrived. The only bright spot was the housekeeping staff who were very polite.
