Miss Marie Cafe

Hmmm, what can I say! Not vegan friendly this is what I got when I asked if they could make me a tomato vegan cheese toastie. I was told they had no vegan cheese, but as I saw vegan Persian feta on the menu, asked if they could use that. $12.00 for this it wasn’t even cut in half. Also, didn’t ask if I’d like some pepper on my tomatoes, so I took it home, opened it up, picked myself off the floor when I saw the 4 slices of tomato minuscule bit of vegan feta, popped a bit of pepper, then under the grill (both sides , cut it in half finally got to eat what was supposed to be a simple vegan cheese tomato toastie! SOOO disappointed! …and to the kitchen staff it’s rude to gawk/stare at customers, regardless of reason for your curiosity! Ps. Your response speaks volumes for your attitude to customers (all I asked for was a cheese tomato toastie! Nothing fancy!!! and your response to my review just makes you look petty!

We had Miss Benedict and ordered extra mushrooms. I had to go to the counter to place my order since no one came to our table to take our order in a timely manner. Regarding the food, while incorporating microgreens can enhance the appearance of a dish, it can't make up for its bland flavor. Also, the hollandaise sauce was too buttery for our liking. The coffee, however, was decent. I don't think I'll be returning to this place.

A very busy little cafe! The Japanese Eggwhite Omelette was a real treat but could have done with a sprinkle of Sichimi or Chilli flakes... Service was excellent, with the food arriving very quickly.

Coffee wasnt the best, but i have had worse had the lamb sanga and was pleased with flavour and wasnt greasy. Staff pleasant. Clean cafe. Would go again.
