Had a three course meal with my husband this evening, the pub is a lovely vibrant pub, very clean, inviting and a good atmosphere. Staff are very happy smiley and very polite. Compliments to the chef though the food was very very good! Plentiful portions too we were stuffed! I wouldn’t hesitate coming back here in the future! This pub is a credit to the Joseph Holt Chain! Highly recommended.

If you are very very patient then come here by all means. We have had to wait 45 minutes between main and desert. Food OK but the two staff are young girls and could not give a toss! Service is appalling, more interested in changing tv channels than seeing to customers. I

Food is amazing Service is amazing Staff are welcoming and attentive We’ve been twice in the last two months so a work meal and both times we have all been 100% impressed. Toilets are super clean too. Would 100% recommend!

We stay next door in the Premier Inn for two night and eat her both as it was so welcoming. The staff were outstanding both nights (different staff) food was lovely would definitely recommend.

Very conveniently located few strides from the Premier Inn. Warm and welcoming and the staff were great. The food was delicious.
