So, we've been to this restaurant every year from 2001 2008 and decided this year to return to Nerja and see what's changed; this place certainly hasn't! As far as we can tell, it's the same owner and by the taste and quality of the food, nothing much has changed in the kitchen either! Highly recommend the pork kebab, SO tasty as it is every year, and my personal favourite veal escalope. Really good food, and the owner seems to know everyone who visits! No complaints, reasonably prices for both drinks and food. I hope to return again one day in the future.

Terrible service, had to wait long to order drinks. Waited 45 minutes for a salad starter. Waited another 30 minutes for the main dish. We actually asked for our food on several occations. When my chateaubriand arrived, order medium/rare, it was really really well done. Got a new plate, I am rather sure it was not a chateaubriand . The only reason to not give a Terrible experience was that the food was OK, and my wife had an nice monkfish that tasted really good, even if a bit over cooked.

We have tried a few of the top rated restaurants whilst in Nerja, including the no. 1 rated restaurant, but this was by far our favourite. Prawns pil pil were superb then my husband had salted cod which he said was fabulous I had a steak skewer which was plentiful succulent. We hope to revisit for our last night tonight …. If you have not been, try it!

This is an old Spanish resteraunt run by the same family who trace their history back for generations. They serve a varied menu their signature dishes being steak which is excellent meat perfectly cooked. Fish and pork also feature on the menu. A warm welcome awaits you.

Great food Between us we ordered; Pork Knuckle Grilled salmon Lamb chops Beef kebab All dishes were perfectly cooked, well seasoned and tasted excellent. The only thing I personally didn’t like were the pickled vegetable side dish (but that’s just my taste).
