Merkato - Reservar uma mesa

I've been to many Ethiopian restaurants. Merkato is one of the better, but not the best. The food is delicious and the service friendly. There is also a beautiful outdoor terrace with many seating. I ordered Sambusas. They were tasty, but you were a bit frozen in the middle. I then had the vegan plate as my head that I shared with a friend. It was a good amount of food, but less than I expected. All samples on the plate were delicious. The whole meal worked on about 20 pounds each. Overall, I was pretty happy with the restaurant.

Ethiopian cuisine is for people who like to share food. After we have never tried, we have relied on the waitress to guide us through the menu, and we ended with the ordering of the most popular items currries and stuffing on the (lightly acidic) flat brot. it was all very tasteful, tasty and communal, made for a pleasant evening.

I wish I could taste the food, but the woman who sat us decided to have a social conversation with a friend and let us wait to order for over 30 minutes. We went out after we were not served so long. Menu looked confusing! It's a matrix.

embedded in a part of london, which seems to change its character (there is a vegan shop further down the street of this restaurant is definitely the short walk that they bring there.

Honestly not the best Ethiopian in the area. It was just okay. Marathon over the street is a little better imo.
