Mas Tacos Por Favor

On a whim, we stopped at Mas Tacos while in Nashville. We had lucked out as it was Wednesday- tamale day! The tamales were perfectly steamed with chicken and veggies in the center so tasty, I knew they were authentic. Other items we had were the fried avocado taco and the chicken and pork tacos. All were deemed of the highest quality and deliciousness. The elote took me to the streets of Guadalajara and the black beans and plantain dish was fabulous. Several of my group got seconds and we all (5 of us) got orders to go! My frozen Paloma was the perfect blend of tequila and grapefruit. My friend had the sangria and thought it was balanced between the wine and fruit. The service was EXCEPTIONAL. Basically window/counter service, the food was delivered quickly and when one order had a slight, error, the staff made it right immediately! I will definitely be back when I return to Nashville!!

This was such amazing food and the staff was super friendly and prices were very reasonable. You order at an outdoor window and then grab a seat or wait for a to go order. We got the chicken tortilla soup, beef tacos, and the sweet plantains. Everything was really amazing. The atmosphere inside was loud as it was packed due to rain. There’s an outside seating area as well.

Day four of our road trip. Tasty tacos. Not much more to say here. They are aiming for and hit the cool superior taco joint vibe. It isn't cheap. But it is good. The bottle of local beer was rubbish, can't remember what it was called. But that isn't their fault perhaps it is what people like in Nashville?
