Mary Brown's - Reservar uma mesa

My wife and son and I went out for a quick lunch last Saturday and we stopped at Mary Brown's. After looking at the menu I realized that MB's has gotten very expensive. Really over $10 for a Big Mary Meal? We settled for a Hot Chicken Sandwich each and my son had a kids snack pack. His meal was okay but our Hot Chicken Sandwiches were heavy, very heavy on the gravy and limited on the chicken. I thought for the price it would have been reversed. The floor also had a lot of wax applied and it was not dangerous but for a senior they might have trouble.Never again.

I tried Mary Brown's a few years earlier (in Fort McMurray) and wasn't impressed, but people kept telling me how good it was, so finally I thought I would try it again just for kicks, and it turned out to be great. I've tried three different locations around the St John's area and all three have been great. My only complaint is that it's a little more expensive than KFC, but I guess you have to pay to get quality.

I continue to go here two or three times a month. When I see the reviews of the places that serve chicken and we are now finding out that most places serve processed chicken which equates to serving only 40% real chicken the rest is additives...no names mentioned. Mary Browns is real chicken. Quite enjoyable and with taters and gravy its so tasty.

After more than a year away, I went back and had a Big Mary. Terrible and inedible; tough and stringy. I phoned and I was told the chicken is a frozen product, which should not be the case, as Mary Brown advertises as all fresh chicken.WHY have you ruined what was once a treat?

It is what it is and I love chicken. Mary Browns does a great job with their chicken and taters. This facility is very clean and the front staff are extremely friendly. I go once a month to this restaurant.
