Martine's Riverhouse

On a bright and sunny Fall afternoon we made our way to Martines. This was not my first visit nor will it be my last. I’m just going to say every thing was right. We were seated outside as requested. Our server Tania was friendly, smart about the menu and provided exceptional service during our visit. We started with drinks mine was a pearway to heaven?. Pretty good. For appetizer we shared the recommended fried green tomatoes with shrimp. Delicious. My companion enjoyed her burger and I had to try the butternut squash soup which was perfect with pumpkin seeds enough for every spoonful. For dessert it was the crème brûlée and I’m so glad we went for it. Of course a coffee and kahlua came with dessert. Well, it’s New Hope and we had cocktails so the bill was up there but worth it for the river view, excellent service and yummy food.April 2024. Back again and just wanted to say so happy to see Tania back and providing excellent service and bringing us more great food and drinks.

The ambiance was great sitting on the patio overlooking the river. Service was slow. A 1:00 lunch took well over 2 hours. I ordered a lemon pasta dish and added shrimp. It was $36.00. It was more like a soup pasta dish verses a lemon butter pasta dish. We felt we had to order drinks in advance because our server was not around too often. It was a $300 lunch for 4. I'd be okay with that if the food, service, and drinks matched.

We went to Martine's for a birthday dinner. The atmosphere alone was worth the trip. The amazing service from Sal was the cherry on top. He gave expert recommendations and switched my drink when the first one wasn't what I wanted. We can't wait to go to Martine's again. Hopefully soon!

Love, love, love everything about Martine's River House. Sitting on the outside deck is always the way to go with good weather. Service was fantastic. Food was amazing. Drinks superb.

We really enjoyed our dinner at Martinez's River House. Our waitress Tanya was phenomenal. The food was great, scallops in particular. The ambiance was awesome. We plan to come back.
