I have visited the “Manin” many times, sometimes for lunch, sometimes for dinner. With this assessment, I would like to pay my respect to the consistently good cuisine. Manin stands for very good creative, traditional, Mediterranean and Italian Trattoria cuisine. The “Manin” is located in a very beautiful historical town villa in the heart of Saint Wendel, right at the castle square. A stylish loft restaurant with industrial character was created here with a lot of expertise and attention to detail. Only fine materials were installed, such as “ Parisian metro tiles, old Italian tiles, oak or antique wallpapers”. The interior architect did good work. From the optimally equipped card we chose salmon fillet at 12,50 € with supplement salad at 3,00 € and Rumpsteak New Zealand) 250g with pepper sauce at 18,00 € with tagliatelle at 3,00 € Rating: the salmon fillet was perfectly nice crispy fried, in cut nice delicate, juicy and aromatic on the tongue. A true pleasure through the crown of air-dried ham, Fontina cheese with its slightly nutty touch and tomatoes. The side salad, as usual crisp fresh, consisted of various leaf salads, complemented with pine nuts, parmesan, sprouts and herbs, and refined with the tasty house topping The Rumpsteak from the New Zealand cattle was served in a preheated guinea pig. The meat, of unique quality, finely marbled and with beautiful aroma, it was roasted on the point medium, buttery and juicy, by the authentic grill strips and with grilled Kirchtomate and fresh green and red Peperoni slices also appealing visually. Well harmonized is the picantly tasted pepper sauce. There was nothing to complain about, as well as the homemade Tagliatelle, which were served until the evening in a small pan. The ingredients of the dishes are always top in the manin – fresh and of selected good quality. The preparation was handcrafted perfect, the dishes were a professionally presented pale mouse ....class performance. 5 star service Unfortunately the service is not always as good and professional as the kitchen of the house. The staff is often overwhelmed with strong urge. My conclusion: original, creative, traditional and Mediterranean cuisine of high quality in stylish loftambiente ... service not always perfect
