Mango Asia Bistro

Had a meal at this restaurant bistro on the 5th May. And we had an excellent meal. The food was superbly cooked, and arrived steaming hot and on warm plates. It was well cooked and very tasty and the portions were very generous. We did not think the meal was expensive and it was well worth the money. Service was very good and the staff were very attentive to our needs, bearing in mind being English in an Asian restaurant in Germany. Language was not a problem. The restaurant was comfortable and furnished in a modern style. We would nor hesitate to eat there again, on our nest visit to Celle.

I visited here in May 2011 when visiting Celle for business. It is a lovely restaurant, very small, so no privacy but as I dined alone this wasn't a problem. I had chicken satay for starters which was very nice, then had the chicken curry which was just ok. Presentation was poor however the service was good. When it came to paying I tried to pay by VISA card as I didn't have any cash but they didn't accept VISA. I then had to go looking for a cash machine in the rain and go back to pay. I believe there are probably much nicer places to eat in Celle, therefore I wouldn't be returning.

Was here for dinner and instead the waitress is friendly and speak English. Ordered a Vietnamese Pho to try out as it was my 1st visit to this place. The portion is alright but broth is tasteless. My friend ordered the Vietnamese Wan Ton soup and too was tasteless. To my surprise the type of noodles he got was from the packet instant noodle type of noodle. I would not say I will not be back but for sure will not try the Pho.

Living in Germany for about a year and we have visited Mango many times. The food is always great and service is good. The owner is very friendly. I would recommend the crispy duck strips... and also the Mango Special Salad with Balsamico dressing!! Delicious! You can also order online - have never done that though.

Great Asian food with a different twist. Good size portions and great value. Highly recommended, really good variety and choices.
