I rarely write reviews but this evening I experienced the worst customer service in a restaurant ever. We simply wanted paella on our last night in Cordoba. We asked for a table for 2 and firstly were refused despite there being 2 spare tables. The hostess then changed her mind and gave us a table. We asked for a wine list were told they didn’t have one despite it being a gastronomic restaurant!! We therefore asked for 2 glasses of wine and eventually were given what could only be described as sherry. We politely asked if they had Verdejo instead and were given 2 glasses of a different wine which was ok. Paella to be fair was good. When we asked for a further glass of Verdejo they gave us sherry again so we asked for it to be changed. No further wine was delivered. I was so disappointed at the end of the meal that I went inside and asked why we had been given such unfriendly service. The waitress (with very short hair) brazenly said that she didn’t like the English. I even checked on Google translate to make sure I wasn’t hearing things!!! Anyway don’t bother going if you’re English. This experience ruined our last night in Cordoba and this waitress shouldn’t be allowed to work in a tourist destination.

My and my wife came across the Macsura on our first night in Córdoba and decided to try. Previous reviews were good and the restaurant was busy which is always a good sign. We shared a paella which was excellent followed by an great dessert. A slight criticism the service could have been quicker but it didn’t spoil the evening.

Stumbled upon this restaurant and and what a nice surprise! We didn’t see it in the menu, asked about a green salad. She brought us a delicious mixto salad with a little kick. Best salad most scrumptious croquettes since we arrived 10 days ago in Spain and Portugal. Gracias!

We stopped here for lunch….far away the best meal during our holiday in Spain. We had two different paellas and both were simply perfect. Service great, prices ok. Totally recommended in Cordoba

This is a very good place. All the dishes were really nice and the staff were very friendly, I would recommend this place.
