Los Tapatios - Reservar uma mesa

I like to go on Tuesday nights. The 99 cent tacos are what one should expect for less than a dollar. Anyways I would like to share a scam the underaged college students think they invented, They bring in their own soda which is usually laced with a good quantity of booze. Well the Tap's owner and most other restaurants have a no byob policy. i went there like 4 Tuesdays ago. I called ahead to pick up my order. Funny thing happened two policemen were standing at the cash register area taking a report from a patron saying the owner was racist because of their drink policy. A freshman female with four facial piercings was using the race card against the Mexican boss. I made the conscious interjection of asking for my to go order. Old metal face said to me this ain't none of your business and added because I am white my input was unwarranted. I lost my phone that night. I think metal face swiped my I Phone too. Anyone seen an I Phone ? if so please charge it, contact my dad's number, collect a small reward, and i can get my life line back. Thank You

Being new to the area, I was looking for authentic Mexican Food so I tried Los Tapatios for lunch. We were greeted and seated right away. I ordered Fish Tacos and my companion ordered the Chipotle Burrito and we split an order of Chicken Fajita Nachos. We both thought our main dishes were very good. But we raved about the nachos! A nice variation and plentiful! We will return!

The food is always hot and great for authentic Mexican. The service is very good and responsive. Not the most talkative and more to the point but that's ok. It's a little dated inside and could use a good facelift but the food flavors make it worth a stop. The prices are decent and won't break the bank.

They would not seat a table for one and said I had to wait for someone to leave the bar area. No idea how the food was since I didn't get that far.

Good Mexican food but I need the tortas to come back expeditiously, ASAP. 1 dollar tacos was a stellar experience
