Los Delfines - Reservar uma mesa

8 of us came here for dinner because it had been recommended since it was located at the end of the town and on the beach. My wife and I had a Capiraini and a small beer to drink while we made our choices. We shared a portion of shrimp pancakes, which were more like a fritter, served with locally made guacamole which was tasty and sufficiently spicy. We also shared a 2-person monkfish and prawn paella. Despite asking specifically for the prawns to have all the shells, legs, antennae, etc removed, this didn 't happen so we were disappointed with that aspect of the service. Later removal of these items resulted in our lukewarm food being served on cold plates. The rice was a muddy brown colour rather than the usual yellow colour of paella rice which looked unappetising, although the rice was very tasty. The white wine we chose was very good. Overall the service, food and general ambience was just OK. In such a crowded market, restaurants have to get it right to succeed so, disappointingly, I 'm only awarding 3 stars.

My friend and I booked a table for two at 19-30. However, there was no need as the restaurant was empty. Ordered Paella and so looking forward to it as we had eaten here under the last owners. Ordered mixed Paella and it was so salty my friend couldn’t eat it, and sent it back. Mine was the same and as I was so hungry I ate half of it. Never known paella so bad. Definitely not cooked to order and I expect it was out of a pre made packet. Dreadful. Service was good, place is lovely, but nothing like the original Delfines. Won’t be going again. Theses places survive because they are on the beach.

Just called in for a quick lunch. What a great beachside setting.. interior decor..was really on trend.. I chose a poke bowl..which was delicious.. plenty of seating inside and out .very kind helpful staff..what's not to like ? I'd go again without hesitation..

The food here is lovely but a bit pricey. We had lunch here as we were on the beach. Very relaxed atmosphere too. The sunbed are amazing and so comfy. lovely day on the beach.

Very nice lunch and some drinks, pleasant staff, lovely outdoor seating area .. would definitely recommend if in la Cala de mijas
