Limestone Bbq And Bourbon

This was my first time at Limestone. The welcome was great. After walking in you get a chance to see the chefs back there prepping the meats and bbq'n. One asked if this was our first time. After telling him it was he said it was gonna change our life. It almost did! The food was pretty good. The meats her tasty, sausage really spicy. Too spicy for me. The sides were ok.. a little bland. The greens had a little too much vinegar for my taste. The Mac cheese was really good ??. Sounds crazy but the Chilli was loaded with meat. If that's how you like your Chilli then you'll love Limestone's. The service was good. It was lunchtime mid week so only saw a couple waitstaff which made it a little slow. And one if our sides was forgotten from our order but we didn't male big deal of it. I do want to check them out on Thursday when they have a live band.

My husband and I were in the area and tried this place for the first time. They have great barbecue and cocktails. My husband ordered the brisket sandwich and requested to have cheese added to it but they said they didn?t have any cheese besides the pimento cheese dip which we did order on the side and it was pretty good. I got the barnyard bird with dark meat chicken, ribs and Mac n cheese. The chicken was juicy and the ribs were nice and tender and well seasoned. Mac and cheese was also very good. Would be super if they had some cheese but everything else was delicious so we?ll definitely be back for more.

Of course, a good grill on the east coast is difficult to find. Mostly you need to travel south to find that real deal, authentically smoked BBQ... limestone has done a decent job, I had much better and I had much worse. The meats were smokey, they had a nice selection of sauces available on each table. I chose the Slav White Cheddar Mac for some pages not badly needed just some salt, and maybe a more cheesy taste for my pleasure, but overall delicious!! You have live music on Saturday, even if we went to 9:00 the music was still hopping and people still had a great time.

We were pleasantly surprised with this jewel of a restaurant. The ribs were fabulous! Our waitress, Theresa, was very engaged with us, answering all of our questions (as it was our first time). She provided top-notch service with all aspects of our dining experience?thanks so very much!

This is a fine BBQ place to eat at. I like the inside and the food was good as well. I think its cliche to serve BBQ on butcher paper though, it's dated. The main dish was great, but the sides lack. Multiple sauces are available depending on your particular taste.
