L'esquisse - Reservar uma mesa

The town has a wide range of choices all around the harbour and marina which extends for quite a way around a rocky headland. This was the closest to the campsite so we called by and asked if a table was available and one was found inside which was a good choice as the evenings in September are starting to get a bit chilly. Friendly service and a good set of fixed price menus between 20 and 40 euros. If anything the food was a little over-presented with too much coloured sauces in dramatic stripes but nevertheless tasty. Slight mix up with the wrong dessert but quickly rectified. Good but not the best meal of our week away.

.... and did get disappointed .... no, not at all .... rather the contrary: We were looking for authentic food .... and found tasty, delicious and good quality food .... service nothing but friendly and caring ... always trying to help the non-French speaking strangers .... and coming up with great suggestions .... for food and drinks .... so overall this restaurant is an outstanding experience ! Did I mention the music yet ..... just my likes .... some Blues Jazz groves ... made us feel home right away ..... and we (will) keep coming back anytime we’re around the Tréboul area .... Groovy Place ..... go there!

We drove to Douarnenez and walked across the bridge and round the headland so this was the first eaterie we saw. Good choice for the menu du jour at 17€. All rather nice and want to do it again

Tripadvisor helped us find this nice place tastefull interior with interesting paintings on the walls for sale. Nice, observant and friendly service. The food is good and nicely presented.

Nice atmosphere, lovely paintings, great food and friendly staff. Will go again and would recommend it.
