Les Moulins de Ramatuelle

We arrived ordering some champagne - it wasnt chilled - when I asked for it to be replaced - I was told they had run out of chilled champagne and the head water asked if I wanted ice in mine ! The experience went from bad to worse - the service was terrible, I asked for a chilled bottle of water with our meal - the waitress brought a bowl of ice and spooned ice into my wife's wine. Nobody seemed to know what was going on - lots of staff rushing around without guidance - the managers ( dressed like they were on there way to the pub) were focussed on trying to find lots of things not to do . Half way thru outr meal - an elderly gentlemen behind the bar started to play very very loud music - extracts from West Side Story ??? all felt vey odd.We observed other diners arrriving - and being ignored by the head water and managers as thety stood at the entrance wondering whtere anybody would ever notice them .The food was OK - overall - shocking because of the service.I did write to their head office explaining this in more detail - they responded with an offer of a free cocktail - I explained I lived in London anf the offer wasnt suitable - they never rsponded Shocking experience for 150 euros - dinner for two - AVOID !

Great place and a very good idea to have a nice time in the evening. The atmosphere is relaxed around petanque terrain and music adds to the festive or cold atmosphere depending on the time of the evening. On the side of the meal, it was also excellent with a pealadière to share as generous in quantity as in quality. Then the fine roast, the wagyu beef and the puree truffles this meal that closes our holiday week. But at the end, we have only one desire to come back.

The dishes are really very good and surprisingly very cheap for Saint-Tropez! Grilled vegetables were fantastic.Burrata was the best ever! The Lobster was perfect, the Organisation could be improved. Thursday live music and very unbelivabel Barbecue (price and Quality).To go there will be a good decision!

It is one of the most refined restaurants in saint-tropez with a beautiful atmosphere, an amazing garden and the most delicious food ever. We have loved every dishe we have tasted and we will come back very soon.
