"We had dinner here during our stay the food was great and a good choice on offer. Desserts were amazing so many flavours of macarons! Helps if you can speak French but we managed to get by but it took a few attempts to get the correct drinks."

This is the restaurant adjacent to the 'Camp du Drap d 'Or ' yurts on the Puy du Fou park. Posh yurts, at least from the outside (we have not seen the insides) draped in various heraldic colours. Again, it is an 'all-you-can-eat ' buffet which you need to reserve in advance. You will come out bloated from this restaurant too: just about all tastes are catered for, and the coup de grace comes in the disguise of desserts you just have to keep trying out until you have done all the rounds. Again, you are expected to turn up at the time you will have chosen in your pre-booking. The meal is a set price, but as ever, all drinks are extras. No tips are expected.
The food in the restaurant didn't suit all 5 in our party. The kids weren't used to typically french food and struggled to enjoy the promised 3 courses. Not the restaurants fault, but we chose restaurant as it was a buffet style and thought it would suit all tastes. It was also quite expensive considering how little everyone ate. Having said that, the desserts were fabulous with a mountain of macarons, creme brulee, strawberries, meringue, etc, etc, etc....
A decent buffet featuring meat, but the veal was tough and dry, and so was the steak. Not a ton of choices in salads or desserts. However, you can eat as much as you'd like, and the service is quick, so you're not spending all night trying to finish. Also, you cannot be seated until 8:15 p.m.
Buffet style roast meat with veg, sweet and cheese included. The meat was very good quality and we returned the following night for more. The staff in period Tudor costume were helpful and friendly. €26 a head price, drinks extra but bottles's of cold water available gratis.
