Les Delices du Liban

This restaurant had been recommended to us by a couple we met on arrival to sommiere. We were in a party of and arrived early evening, the place was fairly quiet so i asked the waiter if the food was "spicy" he referred me...to some diners who spoke good english, and they were very helpful. So we decided to sit, at that time i was very unsure. The menu arrived, and i did the google translate to see exactly what i would be eating, chose two dishes that turned out wonderful! I thoroughly enjoyed the meal, in fact it was my favourite meal of our time in france! The dessert did not disappoint, exactly what i was after and delicious. The rest of the party enjoyed their meals, and wine too. The waiter was very helpful, and after we were seated it had looked like rain, so he prepared a table for us under the arches. The location is stunning, and in the evening lit up and full of charm. This place was wonderful, and if ever near by in future i would seek this out, we had a memorable evening here with great food and wine, in a beautiful setting, i could not ask for more, a sheer delight, and one i will remember. We stumbled upon Les Delices du Liban and liked the look of the menu and the setting of the restaurant. It was my first Lebanese meal and I was a little apprehensive at the start. However the stuffed vine leave starter was delicious, which put...me at ease for the rest of the meal. The main course and sweets were also excellent. I have no hesitation in strongly recommending that you should go to Les Delices du Liban and try their great food

Decided to eat here as Sommieres wine tasting was in the square and it was packed this restaurant had free tables. Food was interesting but not my thing (can't blame them for that) my wife enjoyed it. Service was mixed. Don't take credit cards...so be aware that you need cash or chequered

After years, this restaurant is going to permanently close. It will reopen for the summer as a fish restaurant. So, no Lebanese restaurant in Sommieres !It will reopen as a fish restaurant this summer

All the food, even the warm ones, tastes like made of preserves. I saw them pouring the food out of plastic containers. For some reason even the tap water tasted worse than anywhere else in Sommières
