Les Coutas - Reservar uma mesa

We had docked at Mailly la Ville and hoped we would find somewhere for dinner even though our guide said there were no local restaurants! Luckilly for us the lock keepers friends told us of a relatively new restaurant Les Coutas! And what a find it was. Set in a delightfully renovated typical French building all white and wood hard floors unfortunately so it can get noisy! The menu was simple and just plate of the day no other choices but it was delicious and very reasonably priced. Delicious bread and oil with some olives for a starter a beef slow cooked stew with absolutely delicious ratatouille and rice. So yummy and as it was actually quite a cool night it was just perfect. Finished with creme caramel and coffee yum yum.
