Lemon Tree The Indian Aroma

We purchased online vouchers - $10 for a takeaway main, rice, naan bread and soft drink. This appeared to be very good value......until we arrived and were told we couldn't select from the house special mains but only from a few vegetarian mains nominated by the restaurant, and from the non vegetarian mains list. We ordered, and only had a short wait. When we opened the containers at home, we were disappointed/annoyed that the lamb rogan josh consisted of just 3 very small pieces of lamb in a large amount of sauce. There were 4 bite size pieces of butter chicken swimming in a container of sauce. Each dish was tasty, well the sauce was tasty - there simply wasn't enough lamb or chicken to comment on.Such a pity that it appears voucher purchasers have been short-changed by this restaurant. As a regular voucher purchaser, it is infuriating when this happens......all too often.If Lemon Tree want repeat customers, they have missed out on us returning.

Used groupon voucher and it showed as the food was minimal to say the least. Chicken tika masala dish had more capsicum than chicken. Lamb korma had an exciting 5 pieces of diced lamb swimming in this monstrous amount of sauce. NAAN bread looked like rats had attacked it prior to putting this in the bag. So much for getting 2 lots of rice. Only received one to share between 2 people. Attached is the inedblie naan bread. Very disappointing to say the least. Wonder if i can get a refund for the other voucher that we purchased. Some business should not engage in Groupon deals if they are going to serve up smaller dishes due to the price they offer. You have just lost a local customer . Very disappointing to say the least.

Lives up to its Indian Aroma badge but the excess ghee on meat meals is not very sightly to say the least. Tandoori beef was great in texture but too wet and didnt have the elegant whiff and aftertaste expected. Vegetables were fresh and properly cooked but not true to traditional fare. The naans were very good. Casseroles were too swimmingly saucy and shimmering of excess ghee, but tasty indeed with classic aromas.

Scoopon voucher for four-Entree, main, rice, garlic naan bread, dessert and house wine or beer each. Excellent value, good selection of mains, fast and friendly service. Tasty food, would definitely return.

Had a great experience at Royers on a visit to Round Top for glampingAlthough the wait was long, the food was delicious as promised.
