L'Ecume - Reservar uma mesa

By the square on a narrow street running parallel to the beach,it looks unassuming from outside. Inside is another matter,very nice and large picture windows looking out to sea.What about the food...well it is very good and a liitle bit original.I had a St.Jacques Burger...sounds iffy?? It comprises two rounds of rosti potatoes with scallops and leek sauce filling..delicious.All the local seafood dishes were there as well as Aberdeen Angus burgers.Service was excellent and for my wife (in a wheelchair) they had a littli lift to get her in the place. We loved it

Food was poor , and service slow and unattentive. We had a risotto which at 18 euro was expensive but what was served resembled a very small portion of over cooked cheese rice pudding with a pale scallop thrown on top. Other dishes ordered were the scallop burger which was 2 packet looking hash browns either side of 3 scallops. The Sauce was decent but again a very expensive dish for what it was at 18 euro. Nice setting and lovely views onto the beach but overall a Dissapointing experince

L'Ecume is as it's name indicates very close to the sea. And for that reason, you're dining behind windows to be protected from the splashes. A bit sad on a summer evening with low tide. The seafood and fish we had were excellent, the dessert delicious. A very good place

I've been there twice with my family. What I like the most is the stunning view on the beach that you have from their rooftop terrace (make sure to ask for a table there when you make a reservation!). Great sunset if you are there...More

Great food, great views and a nice atmosphere. Would recommend booking a table in the window to watch the sunset
