I had the jumbo scallops, which were not jumbo. The scallops came on a bed of mushroom risotto, which was quite good but barely warm. The broccolini was so tough that I couldn't cut it with my knife, so I folded it up to eat it. I have eaten at The Leader Block before, and it was quite good. The best advice may be to stick to the pasta dishes. This dinner was very disappointing.

We loved the food here. The veal Marsala was terrific. Clam linguine was also excellent the Italian csausage pasta dish was a hit with the men. My only complaint was regarding the Open Table app. I made a rez for for at 6:45 because the app showed that there were no tables for 4 available earlier. We arrived a bit early and there were many tables available.

The wine we chose was good, but otherwise we were very disappointed. The service (specifically our waiter Roberto) was less than professional. We waited 45 minutes just to place an order for an appetizer. The food was mediocre. Needless to say, we won't be back.

Fabulous on every level. A slice of elegant old San Francisco via Italy in Ferndale. We highly recommend and will look forward to our next visit.

$3 for bread and $22 for kids meal is ridiculous !
