Le Vilargene - Reservar uma mesa

Great atmosphere very beautiful restaurant with helpful staff, the food was served fast and we did not have to make a reservation because it was a Monday and we were guest staying in the hotel. Overall the food was OK, I expected a bit fresher fish, I had red mullet for EUR 40, which was served very beautiful but I must say I have had better. Also my colleagues have had better fish. The presentation of the dishes was PERFECT. The restaurant was to warm for me and from experience I know that I love a nice drink to go with my food but if it is hot I drink less, You don't want to look all sweaty in front of your colleagues and customers.

Le Villargéne is the fine dining restaurant located in the Chateau Villargenne. The service is good, but not rushed. Dinner is about a 2 hour plus experience as the kitchen takes great pride in preparing each meal and the plant presentation is a true piece of art. The tenderloin of beef was prepared perfectly and accompanied by bone marrow and made small vegetables. I skipped desert for a wonderful cheese plate.Wine can be ordered by the glass.

We tried the restaurant on our first night at the hotel. Meal was well cooked and served. Hotel prices as normal, but it seemed to deter other guests. The room was empty! Better value might make happier customers and more profit. This is not the first time I have written this in a review. If you can't be bothered to drive into town it's ok.

very expensive for food and wine, experimental cuisine with a lot of "new" mixtures of tastes and ingredients. Compliment however for the Patissier, the desert was refined

Very nice restaurante, nice food.. but specially nice place to visit with lots of trees and with a beatiful view!!
