Le Saint Clair - Reservar uma mesa

We decided to eat here as there appeared to be many locals eating lunch there and we weren't disappointed.I had a local chicken dish with bacon, mushrooms, onions, potato and cheese in a well seasoned creamy wine sauce - really recommended. So to the bad points. We had to wait over 30 minutes for our food to arrive after having to wait for anyone to take our order. Once I had tried with my broken French to order, the waiter appeared much more friendly. The tables outside are very tiny and there is no view of which to speak.Overall though I would visit again because the food was tasty yet not too pricy

My girlfriend and I walked past here whilst spending a weekend in compiegne. Reasonably priced and varied beers made us come back throughout the remainder of our trip. Although we didn't try the food as we were staying with relatives who were almost force-feeding us, the other customers all seemed to enjoy the mostly local menu. The service was always friendly and the staff all seemed to enjoying working here. Don't bother with the cocktail list, it seems to be more of an afterthought.

It was bitterly cold outside and the waiter recommended a typical warming Picard dish of potato, bacon, cheese and cream. It arrived, was delicious and just what we needed. The service was excellent and the restaurant itself had a cozy bistro type ambiance - low-key and welcoming.

It‘s so sad when a glass of coke is more expensive than a glass of beer or wine!! However food was good served in a bistro with the interior looking like a tarts boudoir!! Rich chocolate mousse!

the waiter was most of the time staying out and smoking... the food was fine, generally but do not try the dessert with banana flambe with rum. it is horrible...
